BlackBeryy, along with TCL, is making all efforts to revive the once -premier Blackberry smartphone brand
TCL Corporation, the Chinese electronics company that took over the manufacturing of BlackBerry smartphones, has been in a desperate bid to revive the once-hotcake series of phones for a quite a while now.
Its upcoming BlackBerry model, the “Krypton has passed through Bluetooth SIG, Wi-fi Alliance and FCC already according to Francois Mahieu, head of global sales for TCL, says a report on tech blog Slashgear.
The device is a full-touch device unlike BlackBerry's latest offering KEYone and it is expected to arrive at some point in October.

A recently posted image on BBM channels has possibly revealed the looks of the upcoming Krypton smartphone, and shows off the front and back of the phones, as per a report by Crackberry who first leaked the photo.

Given that is it only a backside photo, not a lot can be derived from it. But from whatever can be seen though, TCL has played the specs of the Blackberry Krypton as close to its collective chest.
The smartphone has a rear camera and has revived the look of the standard Blackberry phones but on a relatively large screen as can be inferred from the body length.
The looks of the phone also suggest the once-premier smartphone maker is returning to the carbon-fibre finish with the brushed metal effect trim.
The handset has a single LED flash and the ring around the camera has been slimmed down.
In terms of specifications, the Krypton is expected to carry a similar setup as KEYone, with either the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 or 626 processor inside and paired with 4 GB RAM.

A 4,000 mAh battery is tipped to be in the Krypton which is larger than the 3,505 mAh that its the BlackBerry KEYone is equipped with.
The screen is rumoured to be a full-HD panel, and there may be a fingerprint sensor below the home button.
