Shares of Escorts gained 2.7 percent in the early trade on Monday after company posted strong numbers for the month of November.
The company's agri machinery segment sales for the month of November 2018 increased by 56.4 percent at 8,005 units against 5,119 units in the same month last year.
Domestic tractor sales for November were at 7,641 units against 4,941 units in November 2017, a growth of 54.6 percent.
Exports for the last month rose 104.5 percent to 364 units against 178 units.
At 09:17 hrs Escorts was quoting at Rs 713.05, up Rs 8.60, or 1.22 percent on the BSE.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 1,018.50 and 52-week low Rs 542.60 on 02 May, 2018 and 08 October, 2018, respectively.
Currently, it is trading 29.99 percent below its 52-week high and 31.41 percent above its 52-week low.
