A total of 18,138 candidates scored above the cut-off
The results of the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for 2018 were declared on Sunday, with a total of 18,138 candidates scoring above the cut-off in the JEE (Advanced) 2018 paper. Pranav Goyal from Panchkula secured the top rank in the Common Rank List (CRL) with 337 marks out of 360.
Meenal Parakh from Kota is the top-ranked female with 318 marks out of 360.
A total of 1,55,158 candidates appeared in papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2018. In 2018, 11,279 seats are being offered in the IITs, and the number of students who qualified this year have exceeded this figure by over 1.6 times, stated a press release by IIT Kanpur.
