Indian junior paddlers bagged three bronze medals in the Belgium junior and cadet open table tennis championship, which is part of the ITTF World Junior Circuit, according to information received here.
Archana Kamath won the junior girls’ singles bronze, while the other two medals came in the junior girls’ and boys’ doubles events.
The junior girls’ pairing of Moumitta Dutta and Selena Selvakumar and the junior boys’ combination of Manush Shah and Manav Thakkar both lost in the round of last four.
In the semifinals Archana started well but despite her determined efforts she went down fighting 4-3 to Rebekka Carlsen of Norway.
In the quarterfinals, Archana was in terrific form and outplayed Croatia’s Marta Vukelic winning 4-0.

Boys’ doubles semifinals: Leo De Nodrest (Fra) & Jules Rolland (Fra) bt Manush Shah & Manav Thakkar 9-11, 11-7, 11-2, 11-4.
