Motorola Diwali discounts: Moto Z2 Play at Rs 24,999, Moto M at Rs 12,999, Moto E4 at Rs 8,199 and more

On the occasion of Diwali, Lenovo-owned brand Motorola has announced discounts on its four smartphones in India. It is a limited period discount offer and comes bundled with Jio data offer and easy EMI offers. The offer starts from October 14 and will last until October 21.

The company announced the offer in a tweet . The discounts are offered on four smartphones- Moto E4, Moto M, Moto Z2 Play and Moto G5. Motorola has reduced the price of Moto E4 from Rs 8,999 to Rs 8,199. The Moto G5 will sell at Rs 10,999 instead of RS 12,599 during the sale. The price of Moto M has been slashed from Rs 16,999 to Rs 12,999 and Rs 24,999 from Rs 29,499 for the Moto Z2 Play.

The offer comes bundled with the Jio data offer under which the buyers will get up to 100GB additional data along with the Moto phones. In other days, Jio offers 5GB additional data on every recharge of Rs 309 or above for the Moto M and Moto G5. The company has not revealed much about the this Jio data offer in the tweet. These are Diwali deals and will be only available via offline Moto stores.

About the innards, the Moto E4 which was launched in June this year and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6737M processor paired with 2GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 2800 mAh battery.

Launched along the same time as the E4, the Moto Z2 Play is priced at Rs 27,999. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM. There is a 3000mAh battery to back the device.

Moto G5 was launched around April this year. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. The device is backed by a removable 2800mAh battery.

Moto M was launched at a starting price of Rs 15,999 in India. The dual SIM phone is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor and is the first all metal smartphone from the company.

The company in its series of replies on Twitter, also informed about the launch of Moto X4. One of the users asked about the expected launch date of the Moto X4 to which the company replied soon.
