Tata's Upcoming Compact Sedan Teased Again Ahead Of Geneva Debut

The new concept car from Tata Motors is likely to preview the company's all-new compact sedan. The concept car which is set to debut on March 6, could be built on the comapny's latest AMP architecture.

Tata Motors has yet again released a teaser image of its upcoming compact sedan concept ahead to its global premiere. Set to makes its debut at the Geneva Debut, the new concept is likely to be based on the company's new Advanced Modular Platform (AMP) architecture, which was revealed at the recently concluded Auto Expo in the form of the 45X premium hatchback concept. This means that the upcoming concept car could be the sedan version of the car. Though we still await an official confirmation, the production model of the upcoming sedan concept could rival the likes Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna.

Compared to the previously released teaser image, the latest one is bit more clear and informative and gives us a better look at the headlamps and the partial grille, signifying the company's signature humanity line. The highlight of the teaser images is the new all-LED headlamp, flanked by what appears to be a glass grille, with what appears to be multiple LED lights, although, they aren't lit in this image. At the base, we have the silver design element, underlining the grille and the headlamps. The image also reveals a sharp and sloping bonnet that, together with the grille, which creates an angular design, like a protruding nose.

We are pretty sure Tata Motors will be release more teaser images of the car as we get closer to the Geneva Motor Show, which is slated to be held for public viewing from March 8 to 18. Tata Motor, however, will pull the wraps off the car on March 6, during the press days, and that is when we'll finally get to know all the details about the upcoming concept car.
