Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has appreciated SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali: The Conclusion.
If not a great filmmaker, SS Rajamouli is one of the finest storytellers in India. His Magadheera, Eega and Baahubali are a testimony. Rajamouli is someone who knows the pulse of the audience. For the same, his much-awaited Baahubali: The Conclusion is shattering box-office records with its collection.
Baahubali 2, which released on Friday, opened to terrific response from fans. Notably, the film had rave reception from critics as well.
Interestingly, the I and B minister Venkaiah Naidu took to Twitter to appreciate SS Rajamouli and his team for Baahubali.
On Friday, Baahubali 2 saw 95 per cent occupancy in theatres and has officially raked in a mind boggling Rs 121 crore on its opening day. As per trade reports, the Prabhas-starrer has crossed Rs 200-crore mark on Saturday. It is worth mentioning that Baahubali 2 has beat the previous records set by Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan with their Sultan and Dangal respectively.
Baahubali: The Beginning ended with Katappa revealing himself as the killer of Amarendra Baahubali. And The Conclusion takes the story forward from where its predecessor ended.
Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan star in pivotal roles in this instalment of Baahubali too.
