We're almost on the cusp of ending the first quarter of 2015 and as per the promises made earlier this year; expect to see more gadget-y announcements in the coming weeks. Biggies like Samsung, HTC and LG have made their play in the flagship space but we're more concerned with what's bound to happen in the budget segment.
Xiaomi is one brand which readily comes to our mind but there's Micromax Yu and Asus who'll be doing the talking as well. While Xiaomi has been sharing details on upcoming products, Yu is all set to unleash its second device code named Project Caesar. And by the looks of it; Yu is looking to go down the price bracket with its Caesar phone.
How can we be sure about that? Well, they've just rolled out another teaser for the phone in which Xiaomi phone has been compared with Yu (doesn't get any more obvious). As you can see the teaser has Xiaomi with 1GB RAM while Yu will be adding 2GB memory in all likelihood.
Making matters lot more clearly, Yu will be offering 16GB storage internally, double that of Xiaomi's support. The rest remains shrouded in mystery which will be revealed gradually in the coming days. The company is said to be looking at a mid-April launch timeframe for Caesar which is not that far away from now.
Can Yu possibly make its Yureka sequel cheaper but better than its first-ever device? Looks like the possibility of having more Yu options could turn into reality very soon. Stay tuned things are set to get exciting.
